In the 12 months ending 31 December 2012, Heineken reported healthy volume and revenue growth, mainly thanks to strong performances in Latin America, Africa and Asia Pacific. Results were significantly boosted by the company’s acquisition of Asia Pacific Breweries, but despite growing global volumes and net sales, EBIT (beia) declined organically, as challenging economic conditions and low consumer confidence in Western Europe continued to impact sales.
