Mandela Day is an international day of action celebrating Nelson Mandela's legacy. Participants are asked to donate 67 minutes of their time to a charity of their choice in recognition of the 67 years Mandela gave to human rights.
To mark the day, employees in our Cape Town office spent an afternoon volunteering at Abigail's a local soup kitchen for families struggling to get by. The kitchen is regularly accessed by over 70 children and their parents. In addition to volunteering their time, the group also donated groceries, helping provide a special meal for the community to celebrate the day.
