In China, food and drinks with at least one ethical label accounted for 23% of value sales in 2015. The largest contributors to this were the widely recycled label with US$22.8 billion, the locally sourced prominent label with US$17.2 billion and the Halal label with US$17 billion in value sales. Strongest category performers were dairy, bottled water and oils and fats with values sales of US$19.9 billion, US$9.3 billion and US$7.3 billion respectively.
