The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious business award. Euromonitor received The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: International Trade due to its substantial international sales growth of 155% over the past six years and its contribution to UK exports, with over 90% of the company’s turnover now coming from outside the UK.
Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London Wing Commander M G Dudgeon represented HM The Queen in presenting the award to Euromonitor’s Founder, Robert Senior and Executive Chairman, Trevor Fenwick. Emily Thornberry, MP Islington South and Sir Christopher Nugee QC also attended the ceremony on the HMS President.
“This success is attributed to our high quality research from our 1,000 analysts around the globe, strong relationships with existing customers and our committed staff in our 12 international offices,” said Robert Senior.
Trevor Fenwick added, “In 2013, we expanded our sales into 106 countries worldwide, opened our twelfth office in Brazil and won the HSBC/PWC’s Private Business of the Year Award.”
“We are tremendously proud to have built such a substantial international business which, since 1983, has been operating out of our Islington office,” continues Trevor, “It is a huge testimony to our employees that we have done so whilst supporting the local and national economy and providing job opportunities for local people.”
