In this first post, I am delighted to announce Just a Drop as our first global charity partner. As part of our wider commitment to support charitable organisations we will be donating 1% of all online sales to the international water charity.
Employee engagement is key to the success of our CSR programme and Just A Drop were recommended to us by Caroline Bremner Head of Travel and Tourism. Just a Drop works with community partners to provide local, clean, safe water supplies to poor communities around the world. The importance placed on local knowledge echoes our approach to research and the commitment to identifying the best solution and providing training to ensure ownership and sustainability of the project appealed greatly to us.
Euromonitor’s donation will fully fund a project, bringing clean safe water to a village. Look out for future posts as we identify which project to support and post updates from the community partners and project engineer.
