GLOBAL PETS FORUM
Date: 23-24 January 2014
Location: Amsterdam
Presentation time and date: 13.45 to 14.30, 23 January 2014
Presentation Content: Paula Flores, Head of Pet Care Research, will offer a presentation on the role of emerging markets for the future of the pet care industry.
Global pet care has proved somewhat recession-proof, resisting the strong winds of economic uncertainty. While in mature markets retail value growth has remained somewhat sluggish, emerging markets are driving global value sales. Rising consumer awareness about the benefits of prepared food alongside greater spending power is expected to continue to fuel sales. In this presentation Paula Flores, Head of Pet Care, will analyse pet care global performance with a focus on the hot spots for the next five years.
About the event:
Shifts between global regions are changing the world. The rapid growth of emerging markets has resulted in a dramatic increase in the demand for resources, and prices are expected to continue to rise.
Global PETS Forum will address this changed landscape and answer questions like:
Which areas should you focus on in order to handle these changes? Which new techniques, new marketing approaches, changes in the way we work with partners in the supply chain are available? The important question is: what are the fundamental, decisive drivers that will determine if my organisation is going to thrive in the next decades?
