Euromonitor International’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme has been recognised at the 2018 GivX Summit, held at the Bank of England on Monday 24th September 2018.
The GivX framework offers companies the ability to place a standardised value on their volunteering and charitable donations enabling companies to compare their performance with others. During the event, Euromonitor was recognised as a pioneering participant, ranking in the top 5 companies in the charitable donations section.
“Over the last year, as part of Euromonitor’s commitment to donate 1% of turnover through its CSR programme, we expanded our headline and regional partners programme and now support over 50 charitable organisations around the world.” Says Catherine Hodgson, CSR Manager at Euromonitor International. She also adds “Being recognised for our efforts and programme is an achievement in itself and a real statement of our progress as a company with ethical and charitable values.”
GivX provides companies with a simple way to report on and benchmark their CSR programmes. As corporate responsibility becomes a more integrated part of businesses with employees driving initiatives, GivX is an effective way to demonstrate the impact of those programmes to our stakeholders.
Ben Darlington at GivX comments: “We are delighted with the success and increased participation in GivX this year. We had a record number of companies in attendance – three times compared to 2017, allowing us to provide them with an unprecedented level of insight into how good community investment practice looks.”
In the next year, Euromonitor International is focused on increasing the number of employees volunteering in the community. To find out more about Euromonitor International’s CSR initiative, click here.
