Global built-in refrigeration appliances sales grew 3% year-on-year in 2015/2016, outperforming the 1% growth in freestanding refrigeration appliances. Dominated by Western Europe firms, world built-in refrigeration appliances sales are projected to reach seven million units in 2021, largely driven by Western Europe's growth. Germany, Italy and the UK will be the three largest markets, with Germany alone projected to sell nine millions units from 2016 to 2021.
