London, UK - Market research company Euromonitor International hosted several activities across their global offices as part of Health and Wellness week. The activities featured health and beauty sessions in Cape Town, yoga sessions in Sydney, healthy lunches in Tokyo and walking challenges in Chicago with a focus on promoting mental well-being in the workplace.
“At Euromonitor we recognize the benefits of a healthy work-life balance and we want our CSR programme to make a real difference.” says CSR Manager, Lisa Atamian at Euromonitor International. “A health and wellness week is necessary for the workforce, as we want to empower our employees with opportunities to improve mind, spirit and body.”
During Health and Wellness week, Euromonitor celebrated and showcased the work done across their global offices to promote healthy living. At London headquarters, employees partook part in stress management, healthy eating and physical activities as well as competing in the 5K obstacle course ‘Rough Runner’ to raise funds for Headway - the brain injury association.
Alongside Health and Wellness week, Euromonitor has substantially increased its financial giving by spending one percent of its turnover on charitable projects, equivalent of over £1million for this fiscal year. Atamian continues, “The aim is to make a real difference to what charitable organisations can achieve, and be able to change people’s lives for the better.”
