Indonesian rubber production is expected to pose strong growth of CAGR 7% over 2015-2020. The expansion will result in the rearrangement of the world’s TOP 5 rubber producers with Indonesia becoming the 3rd largest rubber producer globally, bypassing Japan by 2020.

Indonesian rubber production growth will be facilitated by solid performance of the main domestic rubber consumers such as Road Transport, Construction and Motor Vehicles and other manufacturing industries. Moreover, export of Indonesian rubber is also expected to proliferate and stimulate local production.
