2015 was an interesting year for cigars and cigarillos as over the review period the category registered CAGR declines in both volume and current value terms of 3% and 6%, respectively. However, 2015 saw a strong turnaround, with the category registering current value growth of 29% and volume growth of 26%. Despite this positive performance, when put into context, the year’s results only offset similar declines the previous year.
