Session description: COVID-19 hit the global beer industry hard, with Southeast Asia disproportionately affected due to strict lockdowns and blows to the tourism industry. However, the opening up of Southeast Asian economies provides an opportunity for the region to achieve a strong recovery. Euromonitor examines the prospects for the growth of beer in Southeast Asia and trends driving it, including hometainment in a new normal, mindful drinking and sustainability.
