Luxury cars in Poland continued to be dominated by international manufacturers in 2017, while also remaining fairly concentrated. Daimler remained the leading player thanks to its Mercedes-Benz brand, followed by Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) and Volkswagen.
Premium cars in Poland can generally be purchased immediately upon a visit to the showroom, just like mass cars. However, the situation is different when it comes to truly luxury brands, which are subject to limited availability.
Changes in regulations in Poland could weaken the category’s growth going forward.
