The positioning of organic beverages in Greece is premium and so are the products’ retail prices. With ongoing recession and shrinking disposable incomes, this will remain an obstacle to growth in sales.
Organic beverages is set to record a decline in retail value sales over the forecast period. The decline is set however to be slower in comparison to the review period since product variety increased over the review period.
Organic instant coffee is set to be the best performer over the forecast period followed by organic non-cola carbonates. Both categories are anticipated to decline, however the decline is set to be slower compared to the category average.
