Rising demand for quick to prepare and cheaper chocolate-based products

Demand continues to increase for inexpensive chocolate-based flavoured powder drinks. Such drinks are quick to prepare and sold in a type of cocoa mix with other cheaper ingredients, such as sugar, flavour, etc.

Coffee substitutes face greater demand but still see limited availability

The health and wellness trend is encouraging a growing number of local consumers to switch to non-caffeine drinks. This is stimulating chicory sales, although product variety remains quite limited.
