PernodRicardGroupe in Spirits

Company Profile

About This Report

Oct 2018

Pernod Ricard remains the second largest player in spirits globally, and enjoyed success in 2017 for some key brands, especially Jameson’s, which continues to lead Irish Whiskey. Acquisitions in Tequila (and mezcal) helped to solidify the group’s presence in this fast-growing category. But declines in France, its domestic market and one of the group’s largest markets by volume, as well as the growth of craft spirits, underscore the need for vigilance.
