Noodles in Russia is comprised primarily of instant noodle cups and pouches, with plain noodles having a relatively limited presence. Chilled and frozen noodles have almost no presence in the Russian market.
Makfa OAO remains the largest player in rice, pasta and noodles with its market-leading leading eponymous brand. The competitive strengths of this player include the wide-ranging popularity of its core brand, strong representation in all sales channels, and its timely response to evolving consumer demand.
