In 2015, CHIC Sp zoo was bought by British American Tobacco and has since further increased its share in vapour products in Poland, largely thanks to a significant increase in number of company-owned stores and points of sale selling its e-liquids and devices, including supermarkets and hypermarkets. There are even e-Smoking World outlets (which belong to CHIC) in many small Polish cities.
In 2017, Philip Morris was the only player in heated tobacco products. Having launched Iqos and HEETS, the company has announced it is now working on TEEPS, another heated tobacco product.
