The only form of smokeless tobacco available was Swedish-style snus, which registered retail volume growth of 12%. Zero Style was launched in 2013, with some consumers having come to increasingly appreciate its uniqueness, especially in terms of lack of smell.
Japan Tobacco Inc remained the only player present in smokeless tobacco in 2015, hence commanding a 100% share of retail volume sales.
