About Lois

Lois Berman is the Head of Research for Middle East and Africa at Euromonitor International, with oversight for teams in London, Cape Town and Dubai.  She has worked at Euromonitor for over 13 years.   ​

With over twenty years’ experience in business intelligence, Ms. Berman has conducted research and analysis across a wide range of fmcg industries, looking at the socioeconomic and consumer trends that drive their growth.  ​

Specific to Africa, she co-wrote the white paper, Business Opportunities and Challenges in Africa, and contributed to the Euromonitor Megatrend on Africa Rising, as well as writing two strategic briefings and conducting a webinar on African Innovation:  Challenges and Opportunities.
