Passport platform
Browse, compare and export. No technical set-up. Passport AI built in for plain-language questions and summaries.
One source of intelligence, three ways to access it. Passport Connect extends your subscription beyond the platform – into your own systems through the API and into your AI assistants through MCP. Same data, same licence, with the source named every time.

The same Euromonitor data, entitlements and licence underpin every journey. Your Passport Connect license opens access to both API and AI assistant integrations, with no extra platform requirements.

Scheduled, programmatic pulls into BI, planning models and in-house systems. Model- and stack-agnostic.
Works in AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude – also available in Microsoft 365 apps. Every answer includes Passport citations.
How it fits together
One Passport intelligence core, two connection routes
Where your teams work
In-house agents | Business apps, portals and planning tools | BI and data pipelines
Your AI assistants
MCP for AI assistants and agents: live, cited answers in the tools your teams already use.

How it helps you
Step 1: Trusted Euromonitor intelligence in your own tools
Market sizes · Forecasts · Company and brand shares · Voice of the Consumer · Pricing and menu data – on one global taxonomy, verified by analysts on the ground in 100+ countries
Step 2: Passport answers, cited every time
A market size, forecast or share, with the Passport source, edition and data references named. Add the MCP URL and receive a cited market size in under a minute.
Step 3: Add your own data
Continue in the same conversation or the same model to set your own performance against the Passport benchmark – one connected answer, source named.
Value
Extending your subscription across people, systems and AI brings five practical benefits.
Scheduled, programmatic retrieval replaces manual exports and rekeying, giving analysts more time to interpret the data.
Dashboards and models update with each Passport data release, keeping category and channel views current.
AI answers draw on globally comparable, expert-verified market data and cite Passport – trusted evidence in place of unsupported model output.
Model- and stack-agnostic: works with Microsoft Copilot and Claude today and the technology you choose next.
Entitlement-based, auditable access with clear AI usage rights and no Euromonitor content stored outside our systems.
Governance
Entitlements applied at source – every request is checked against the user’s Passport entitlements

Users only see what you license
Across the platform, API and MCP.
Usage you can audit
Activity is visible and reportable to your administrators.
Clear AI usage rights
Set out in your licence agreement, with no Euromonitor content indexed or stored outside our systems.
Most clients use more than one. The question isn’t which is best, but which fits the job.
| Direct API | MCP connector | |
|---|---|---|

| Set up by | Your data or engineering team | Your IT or AI platform administrator, once |
| Used by | Systems, pipelines, dashboards and models | People and agents, in conversation |
| Returns | Structured, versioned data you store and model | A cited answer with the figures and their Passport source |
| Refreshes | On each Passport data release | Live, at the moment of the question |

Passport Connect is an optional addition to a Passport subscription. One Connect licence opens access to both the API and MCP routes, serving the content you already licence.
The Passport intelligence core in your subscription: market sizes, forecasts, company and brand shares, Voice of the Consumer, and pricing and menu data. The Stats API covers the statistics; the Insights API covers report content and analysis.
Passport data remains in our systems. No content is indexed or stored outside them, the connection is read-only, and your queries aren’t used to train Euromonitor or third-party models.
The MCP connector works in Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Excel today, and with in-house agents built on MCP. The Passport AI agent is available in the Microsoft 365 Agent Store. A federated Copilot connector is in development for H2 2026.
For the API, yes, it’s a documented, versioned HTTP API and most data teams are productive within a day. For MCP, no: an administrator adds the MCP URL once and teams use it through their assistant.
Yes. Through the API in your warehouse and models, and through the MCP connector in an assistant, where the same conversation can set your own numbers against the Passport benchmark.
Endpoints are versioned, so changes are announced and nothing breaks unexpectedly.
Authentication details are issued within 48 hours of a request being logged. Pre-sales technical support is available while you scope, and the Euromonitor Digital team supports you after go-live.
