Most innovation awards reward the best story. We want to reward the best evidence.

Euromonitor International will present its first Innovation Awards at the Global Innovation Forum in London on 18 November 2026. Under the theme Signals of What’s Next, the awards will recognise FMCG innovations that offer compelling evidence of where markets and categories are heading.

An evidence-led approach to innovation

Innovation awards often celebrate what stands out. These awards focus on what the evidence tells us matters.

Euromonitor continuously tracks new product launches across markets and online retailers, from their first appearance to how widely they expand and whether they gain staying power.

That makes a different kind of award possible: recognising not simply the product with the best launch story, but the innovation that provides the strongest signal of where a category is heading.

Awards recognising innovation across FMCG

Six industry awards will recognise innovation across key FMCG categories:

  • Consumer Health and Wellness
  • Beauty and Personal Care
  • Packaged Food
  • Drinks (Soft Drinks and Hot Drinks)
  • Home Care
  • Pet Care

Two flagship awards will recognise innovation across the wider FMCG landscape:

  • Innovation of the Year
  • Challenger Innovation

A data-led selection process

The awards combine Euromonitor’s innovation data with industry expertise to identify the innovations showing the strongest signals of what’s next.

The shortlist reflects both the strength of the innovation itself and the evidence of its potential to shape future markets. An independent panel of innovation and category experts will select the winners, assessing each nominee on originality, consumer relevance, potential to shape what’s next and strength of evidence.

The winners: Revealed at the Global Innovation Forum
