Total volume sales of nuts in Thailand have rebounded in 2022, and are expected to see further strong growth in the forecast period, as the country has reopened, and all COVID-19 restrictions have been removed. The recovery in demand will be stronger in the foodservice channel, as the travel industry is set to see a revival and consumers are likely to eat out more as daily life begins to return to normal.
The export of young coconuts has been constantly rising over the last decade, due to constantly increasing demand from foreign consumers. Coconut is amongst the most popular drinks for tourists visiting Thailand.
