Jubilant Foodworks’ Domino’s Pizza remained the leading brand in fast food in India in 2017, thanks largely to having by far the highest number of outlets across the country. Furthermore, the company pioneered the pizza concept in India and so enjoys strong brand recognition.
McDonald’s remained the dominant brand in burger fast food in 2017. The brand’s parent company continued to focus on offering a combination of both new and traditional products, with McDonald’s thus remaining the go to brand for most college students looking for a quick meal.
Burger King was late to enter India when compared to McDonald’s. However, since its entry, the company has steadily grown its network, and with its affordable prices was one of the fastest growing fast food operators in 2017.
