Automatic dryers continue to post double-digit growth

In 2018, home laundry appliances continued to be strongly propelled by sales of both freestanding and built-in models of automatic dryers. Over the past few years, automatic dryers became a hit in the Czech market, growing at double-digit pace.

Self-cleaning condensers in automatic dryers set to be next hit

Dryers equipped with heat pump technology are significantly more economical. In addition to the heat pump, the other important component is the condenser, which is at the heart of the dryer and (if functional and clean) allows for economical and reliable performance.

LG first to introduce “Hybrid” dryers in 2017

Hybrid dryers dry at low temperatures with high energy efficiency, while being gentle on soft garments. Additional heaters have been added to heat pump models to enable users to choose between the most environmentally friendly, low energy consumption and fast drying options.

Miele’s Czech factory posts record sales in 2017

Miele Technology, which manufactures dryers, dishwashers and washing machines in Unicov, Czech Republic, posted a major increase in sales and net profit in 2016-2017. In 2017, the company again grew and increased its volume of manufactured appliances.

Electrolux boosts AEG brand at expense of competitors

The supply of washing machines is generally very stable and not subject to any huge fluctuations. Nevertheless, there were some changes in 2017-2018.
