The share of RTD coffee sales via supermarkets grew at the end of the review period thanks to a growing number of retailers allocating space to category items, particularly in the chilled section. Sales also grew for e-commerce thanks to a greater number of consumers purchasing items in an online grocery shop.
Following the international launch of Costa Coffee (by Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Co) in RTD coffee, the player is set to enter its product in Greece over the forecast period too. The launch is likely to be successful given that Costa Coffee is an international brand which enjoys widespread recognition and popularity amongst tourists.
