Vitamilk Accelerates Brand Investment to Retain Its Lead in Plant-Based Dairy
Plant-based dairy in Ghana remains highly concentrated, with three companies Gentle Giants Ltd (Vitamilk), Namio Ghana Ltd, and Lactasoy Co Ltd expected to hold a combined 92% share of retail value in 2026. Over the period from 2021 to 2026, their combined share has declined slightly from 95%: Gentle Giants has seen just a minor decline, remaining at 70%, and Lactasoy has seen a bigger share decline, from 14% to 11%.
