Over the forecast period demand is set to boom for cocktails and mocktails. This is set to stimulate producers of both alcoholic drinks and soft drinks to introduce further novelties.
Premiumisation is expected over the forecast period due to the wider introduction of organic, speciality and craft products. One small local manufacturer The Green Oak, previously produced organic private label beverages for retailers, with its Øndlings brand, which is a premium organic carbonate packaged in glass bottles and which is popular for its flavour profile.
Over the forecast period there is set to be growing focus on green and sustainability credentials among industry players if they are to attract and maintain the loyalty of younger generations and responsible buyers. There are many environmentally-friendly initiatives among industry players including one by Øndlings, which donates 10% of the profits from its Øndlings brand to climate-friendly programmes.
