Furthermore, one of the main periodontal diseases is gingivitis, which consists of inflammation of the gums mainly due to the continuous presence of bacterial plaque.

Tooth whiteners is a niche category in Peru, despite the fact that there is a general belief that white teeth are much more beautiful than yellowing ones. However, despite this, there is a general lack of knowledge among customers about the availability of these treatments over the counter, since most think that teeth whitening is something that only dentists can do and which is therefore expensive.
