Panel description: Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) offerings, traditionally used in brick-and-mortar settings, tend to focus on the merchant/acquiring side but must expand and evolve in a digital direction, guided by merchant-agnostic mobile wallets. The session will explore the history of BNPL, the current post-pandemic payments environment and emerging domestic and international trends. Specific emphasis will be paid to global BNPL adoption and various implementations around the world.
