Whether its watching a virtual concert inside a video game or purchasing a device that replicates the experience of going to a department store makeup counter, consumers will be introduced to new experiences in the home. While these trends are certainly being accelerated by COVID-19, hometainment actually predates the pandemic, and is evident in services such as Netflix.
