Producers and mass media articles were the main agents in the development of the tea drinking culture during 2015.

COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

  • Domestic Fructus doo led the category in 2015, commanding a 24% retail value share. The producer has a long tradition and consumer trust, as well as excellent distribution and strong marketing support to thank for the leading position. Second-ranked was Macval Tea doo with an 8% retail value share, followed by Centroproizvod ad with 6%.

PROSPECTS

  • Manufacturers of tea present in Serbia will certainly try to promote the tea drinking culture over the forecast period, especially because the first signs of its development were already visible in 2015.
