Another attempt by Gol to enhance customer experience came in May 2019, when the company launched a 15-day pilot project to test the use of biometrics to board passengers.

Avianca’s restructuring impacts flight supply in the country

Bus transport benefits from shortage of domestic flights

The reduction in flights operated by Avianca affected the overall flight supply in the country, thereby impacting the price of air tickets. As a result, bus transport saw an increase in terms of numbers of tickets sold to passengers making domestic trips.
