The company’s leadership can be attributed to a wide product range, which includes Kraft Cheese Spread, Philadelphia, Kraft Singles and Kraft packaged hard cheese. Moreover, the company frequently offers price discounts and bundle deals, while also using promotional staff in selected shopping malls to provide free samples for consumers to taste.

PROSPECTS

  • Consumers may well start to eat less cheese as it is perceived as an expensive and non-essential product. Manufacturers, meanwhile, may switch their focus from the retail to the foodservice channel, targeting hotels and cafés in particular as these establishments use more cheese due to offering Western-style foods.
