Women's pre-shave on the other hand, remains more of a niche as this concept is not as popular as it is within the men's category, with women content to mainly use soap and water instead.
Procter & Gamble and Reckitt Benckiser Household & Healthcare continued to dominate depilatories in 2020, with their respective brands Gillette Venus and Veet. The players operate in different areas, with Procter & Gamble focusing on products for shaving (women’s pre-shave and women’s razors and blades) while Reckitt Benckiser develops hair removers/bleaches.
