The brand has a long-standing presence in the Norwegian market and has benefited from continuous advertising campaigns and the strong growth of nasal sprays.

Competition increasing in pharyngeal preparations as Bertolix enters the fold

Pharyngeal preparations was the most dynamic category within cough, cold and allergy (hay fever) remedies over the review period. At the beginning of the review period Zyx was the only brand present in the market but it has since been joined by a number of new brands including Triolif, Strefen and Solvivo.
