It is common knowledge that luxury brands have a significant appeal for the average consumer in Mexico, many of whom desire the exclusivity and status applied to these brands. Owning products from these luxury brands helps to build a sense of self-worth and status.
Fragrances is expected to see a mixed impact as consumers continue to revert back to their old lifestyle habits. For example, as consumers start to eat more meals at restaurants, take spa appointments and trips to the movies, and start planning holidays again this could limit the disposable income available for luxuries such as fragrances.
Sustainability and luxury are not mutually exclusive and neither are they at odds. In fact, for smart brands, these trends offer new opportunities to do business and reach new customer segments.

Fragrances
This is the aggregation of men's, women's and unisex mass and premium fragrances as well as fragrances sets/kits. The distinction between mass market and premium is normally price and label/positioning (mass fragrances rarely carry a designer label) and distribution. Also includes hair fragrances with a primary function of making hair smell good and not to be confused with hair oil and other styling/conditioning products with hair fragrances, whose primary function is to either condition or style over fragrance.
